Graduation Takeover here at Discipleland Online is in full swing.

We are celebrating our annual graduation, celebrating your kids growing older, wiser, stronger, and more mature. No matter how old your kids are, there is a place for them here at our church.

We are excited for your kids to take their next step as a Christ follower as they grow and mature in their faith, and continue to build a strong relationship with God. We love that we get to be part of all the amazing things that God is doing in your child’s life.

Is Your Childs Information Incorrect?

Graduating will be a smooth, easy transition. This is what to expect:

If this year, your child turned 5 years old, they will now be graduating from The Jungle to Turbo! This is so exciting because they will be engaging in a whole new video!

This is what to expect:

  • Your child will be introduced to do a dynamic and interactive praise and worship set, with new motions and lyrics.
  • There is an opportunity to give into the offering and be part of building into God’s kingdom.
  • They will no longer be watching the Bible Adventure video, but now a video best-suited to their new age where they will be able to understand and relate a lot more to situations happening in their life. The new video introduces the Konnect Crew on Konnect Station.
  • Kids will be introduced into a more open discussion time – where they get to answer questions and chat about it. Join in the discussion and get involved with your child!
  • We encourage you to download the Memory Verse Card and Challenge Card for your child to practice and complete in the week.

If this year your child  turned 8 years old, they will now be graduating from Turbo to Pumped up! This is so exciting because they will be engaging in a whole new video!

This is what to expect:

  • Their praise and worship remains as awesome as it was with a dynamic and interactive praise and worship set!
  • Of course, there is an opportunity for each child to give into the offering and be part of building into God’s kingdom.
  • We are introducing Search The Verse to your child. This is where we take some time and have some fun searching for the Bible verse for that day’s lesson. In this segment, the kids will learn how to find scriptrue in their Bible, highlight it, learn about, and take notes! Search the Verse requires a Bible, a notebook, a pen, and a highlighter.
  • Konnect Crew are now familiar faces to your child and will remain in Pumped Up!
  • Get the kids involved with question and discussion time. We ask questions from the lesson they learnt and give some insight on the answers.
  • We encourage your kids to keep practicing and completing the Challenge Cards and Memory Verse Cards in the week!

If this year your child turned 9 years old, they will now be graduating from Pumped up to Supercharged! This is so exciting because your child will be engaging in a whole new video!

This is what to expect:

  • Your child will be introduced to a new age-appropriate lesson at Konnect HQ, and content that will encourage them to apply what they learn as they go out into their schools, sports teams, and friend groups.
  • Your child can expect a similar online experience with dynamic praise and worship, where they are able to express the love, admiration, and respect that they have for God, as they cultivate a lifestyle of worship – as well as through a time of giving to God through the offering.
  • Search the verse for this age group will be just as fun as they explore God’s Word, learn their memory verse, and get equipped with His Truth.
  • As they engage in their lesson video, and discussion time, your child will be challenged to go deeper in their personal relationship with Jesus, as they live a totally committed life to Christ, and find purpose in following Him!

If this year your child turned 12 years old, they will now be graduating from Supercharged to Amplified! This is so exciting because they will be engaging in a whole new video!

This is what to expect:

  • Praise and worship is an important part of each service of our church and aims to create a moment where you can encounter God and take some time to prepare your heart for the service. Amplified praise and worship is the same as main church worship and is followed by an offering encouragement as we intentionally prepare for your eventual graduation into that space in the upcoming years.
  • Throughout the upcoming year we will be chatting about prayer and fasting, faith, the Holy Spirit, fear, leadership, identity and so much more! This happens through engaging age-appropriate lessons featuring the Loop Show, and content that will encourage and equip you to apply what you learn each week as you go through everyday life.
  • Together we will explore God’s Word, have a main memory verse that we will focus on for the day, and be challenged through weekly activities to go deeper into a personal relationship with Jesus, finding your true purpose and living your best life as you follow Him!

If your child is going to Grade 10 next year, they will be graduating from Amplified into the Main Auditorium.

This is what to expect:

  • Your child will still have a moment to encounter God through praise and worship along with the congregation followed by an offering encouragement.
  • Each week your child will have the opportunity to be encouraged in the word from our very own senior pastor Ps Donavan, the best and our favourite!
  • They will have the exciting responsibility to take ownership of their faith, engage in passages of scripture and look for ways to apply the word of God to their everyday life.
